Emmett O’Keefe

Director, Federal Public Policy, Amazon.com, Inc.

Emmett O'Keefe is Amazon.com's Director of U.S. Public Policy where he is responsible for developing and representing the company's public policy positions.

Before joining Amazon, Emmett was a longtime staff member to Members of the House and Senate Commerce Committees. Most recently he was Senior Leadership Advisor to Senator Byron Dorgan. Earlier, he served as Legislative Counsel in the Senate and Legislative Director in the House of Representatives.

Emmett is a graduate of Marquette University and Howard University School of Law. He lives in Kensington, Maryland with his wife Kristin, daughter Anna and son Charlie.
